O EGEU precisa de angariar fundos para financiar o próximo ciclo de programação de 2020/2021. Tendo funcionado, no último ano, numa base de autofinanciamento e através de empréstimos, o EGEU procura agora iniciar o seu segundo ano de actividade com maior autonomia. Para tal, numa fase temporária, enquanto esperamos por apoios financeiros externos, recorremos ao crowdfunding de forma a impedir um interregno no projecto e a perda do nosso espaço, na Rua do Funchal, nº1A, em Arroios.
Com esta contribuição, pretendemos garantir uma maior dedicação à discussão e materialização de projectos artísticos, aumentando assim a diversidade da programação e, por consequência, a afirmação do EGEU no meio cultural de Lisboa. Desta forma, poderemos oferecer novas oportunidades e um palco mais alargado de discurso a jovens artistas que procuramos apoiar.

EGEU needs to raise funds to finance the next cycle of exhibitions (2020/2021). Having worked, on the last year, on a self-funding basis and through loans, EGEU is now looking to start its second year of activity with greater autonomy. For this reason, while we wait for institutional financial support, we resort to crowdfunding as a means to prevent a break in the project and the loss of our space, at Rua do Funchal, nº1A, in Arroios.
With this contribution, we will be able to offer new opportunities to the young artists we seek to support. In fact, we intend to dedicate ourselves in a greater extent to the discussion and materialization of artistic projects, thus increasing the diversity of our program and helping EGEU to establish itself in the cultural scene of Lisbon.
